HEARTSTOPPING: A series from The Herald News

The Herald News of Fall River ran a five-part series, beginning January 11, 2009, about heart surgery at Southcoast Hospitals.

The series followed Thomas Librera, dean of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fall River, as he underwent open heart surgery at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
